I laughed out loud! I was hungry, but the reference to the meat-jigsaw has put me off somewhat. Can I suggest Anna Karenina for a recap? I slogged through 500 pages about 20 years ago and now remember nothing but would love to hear how it ends (without actually trying to read it agin, of course!) xxs
It's great! Very melodramatic, but the descriptions of the natural world are amazing, and there's so much going on, thematically speaking...a lot of the questions it is interested in are still pretty relevant.

Ohh I love Anna Karenina! I will add it to the list...although it is loooooong, so might need to split it into bits 🤔...thanks for the suggestion!
This gave me a good laugh. Thanks Eleanor!
Loving these recaps !
Enough to make you choke on your popcorn.
What an ordeal. So, would you say it's a good read and worth all the hype in the end?
